A Brief History:
In July 1993 HCA began with four children in the beautiful town of Hermanus in the Western Cape of South Africa. Since March of 1994 the campus of HCA (now 60 pupils) has been located on our property in Sandbaai, Hermanus. In 2020, one hundred pupils were enrolled from Grade 0 to Grade 7.

The new South Africa that we are building in the hearts and minds of our students reflects our philosophy of education that:

At the Academy students are trained how to live in order to equip them to be successful in life. We offer students the opportunity to be “the best they can be” as they discover the natural skills, talents and abilities with which God has gifted them. The Academy’s dedicated staff through love, personal attention and discipline helps them to be developed to the glory of God.
